Filament Projects is a female-led theatre company producing wondrous and thoughtful projects with & for children. Since 2017 we have worked in partnership with schools, local authorities and cultural organisations such as the National Trust to dream up projects, performances and installations of exceptional quality that invite children to discover their own agency and creativity, helping them to reflect on the world in which they are growing up.
We take time to listen to children and are acutely aware that for many, access to creative experiences is limited. Because of this our mission is to produce projects with & for children in areas of socio-economic need, and/or rural isolation, to enable more children to access life-changing creative experiences.
Our work is shaped by our four core values: Collaboration, Wonder, Care and Learning.
“We are proud to work with Filament, they employ a highly collaborative model and clearly demonstrate a belief and commitment to creating high quality, engaging and inclusive work for children.” Z-arts
